At this time of year is that I cannot post more than glimpses of Christmas commissions so finding something to write about is difficult. However recently finding "hyperlapse video" on my (very) smart phone has revolutionised my wife's ability to share my art and art techniques with you. This blog tells you more....
I am delighted to have four detailed pastel artworks and one framed print accepted for exhibition and for sale at the lovely Sable & Hogg gallery and framers in Brecon. I have sold paintings at this gallery in the past and this blog explains why I was first accepted & which artworks have sold, and are for sale, there.
This blog shares my plans for 2020 - exhibiting at Sable and Hogg gallery in Brecon, a possible solo exhibition at the Makers Gallery in Crickhowell, more commissions in the pipeline and new artworks being created to add to my portfolio. Roll on 2020!
Having completed my latest pet portrait commission ( which is a surprise gift for Christmas) I have decided on my next artwork - a badger. This blog shows the neck and collar of the pet portrait ( showing attention to detail ) a bit of the badger reference photo, plus my progress on the badger as of this afternoon - my first hour in the form of a collage. I will keep you posted!
As Christmas approaches and I have nearly completed my current pet portrait in pastel I have been thinking of how to promote my portrait commission work as a special gift. In this post you will see the "before" & "after" collages, a glimpse of this pet portrait commission showing attention to detail plus linktree links. Have a great day and if you want a commission done, you know who to ask! 😁
