I like to enter a few art competitions a year as it allows me to showcase my artwork with others. I am proud to share with you this award from Art Room online gallery for this landscape pastel painting "Achintrad Boathouse" This artwork, awarded an Honorable Mention in the Landscape Art Exhibition for February 2021, was created using soft pastel and pastel pencils on Artspectrum pastel paper. It sold a few years ago but you can see more of my landscape art for sale, on my website. I hope to work with you soon so stay safe and enjoy the rest of your day.
I was approached by Trixie Morgan to complete a portrait of the spaniel Bonzo for her husband's birthday. This blog shows some "artwork in creation" photos plus slideshow. It is always good when a commissioned artwork is finally given to the owner so that it can be shared with you! Hugo, the labrador puppy was commissioned by Paula for her niece Lucy.
