I am interviewed by Dave Nevue as a Featured Artist

I am always interested in finding out more about art marketing and how to increase my exposure across all my social media platforms and my wife Cathy helps me in this. It is hard to balance the PR aspect with art creation but with Cathy as my "manager" it helps enormously. I discovered Dave Nevue on my art marketing journey on both Pinterest and Twitter. I am using Cretacolour pastel pencils here, on Artspectrum Colourfix paper.  This is where I am at the end of day one - I am working in my son's house, on an easel/desk combination that he bought for me. Home tomorrow...

Where needs must - adapting a studio in a new location!

Hello there! Hope all is well with you today. I had a bit of a challenge this week as my son Matt injured his finger and can't drive, so we went across to his home in Birmingham to help out with the school run. However I needed to find a way to continue my current commission so rigged this up on their dining room table. I used the backboard from my studio at home as the base. then used firm cardboard, plus a heavy box, to lean on while working.   It worked well! Catch up soon and enjoy your day!  ...
