In this post you will see the "before" & "after" collages, a glimpse of this pet portrait commission showing attention to detail plus linktree links. It's back to the easel now, after a successful exhibition is over

We enjoyed the 9 days of H-art (Herefordshire art ) week this year as, unlike in previous years, we were able to visit other venues across the county...... We did meet a lot of people during our exhibition as we attended the preview on Friday September 6th and stewarded on the afternoons of the 10th and 12th. Below...

Day one of my latest commission - a good start!

Having finished a commission that I cannot reveal yet, I thought I'd share a few photos at the start of my latest commission - a lady and her dog.  Here I am working on the dog's eye - my wife Cath has done some videos of this which I hope to post to my YouTube channel in due course. I am using Cretacolour pastel pencils here, on Artspectrum Colourfix paper.  This is where I am at the end of day one - I am working in my son's house, on an easel/desk combination that he bought for me. Home tomorrow...
