I have not done a fox recently so thought this would be a nice addition to my collection. You can imagine him curled up in a secret place watching the world go by. 

As with most of my artwork, this fox painting is completed using soft pastels and pastel pencils on Artspectrum colourfix paper. The sharpened pencils create the detail of the fur and eyes, and the background is blended using polystyrene sticks to give the three dimensional effect to the completed painting. Brown hares have been a very popular subject for my artwork, having sold two previously. They are iconic and striking and this running hare is no exception.

As with most of my artwork, this hare is completed using soft pastels and pastel pencils on Artspectrum Colourfix paper. The pencils are sharpened to a point and have allowed me to capture the details of the fur, eyes, and grass. The background is blended using polystyrene sticks to give the three-dimensional effect to the completed painting.

This delightful image is of three field mice on a stalk of wheat munching their breakfast. The original reference photo was by Peter Wood. Who could not be charmed by these?

This whitetail deer was photographed by a colleague and I have concentrated on the details of the grass, fur and eyes to give show the timid but inquisitive nature of the creature.
