SOME RECENTLY COMMISSIONED PORTRAITS

MARY

I was approached by Mary's husband Chris earlier this year to create a portrait of her for her birthday in July. She was delighted with it and commissioned me to do her two daughters Savannah and Tiana, as well as herself and Chris ( do be completed soon)

ANN
This is a commissioned portrait of the 79 year old Ann who looks stunning in this pastel painting. I took the reference photo to work from and have enhanced Ann's face very little.

Having undertaken a commission in pastel for this couple previously, they asked me to create this family portrait for them. I took the reference photos and then created a collage to work from. You can read more about this portrait HERE

This commissioned portrait was undertaken by me from reference photos taken in Heather's kitchen. We selected the one that best showed Heather's personality and character. She was very happy with the completed artwork.

This is one of my favourite portraits which you will have seen elsewhere on this website. You can read more about how I created this portrait on my wordpress blog, which I started many years ago

This is another favourite portrait of mine. Tony came to one of my open house exhibitions and, after I had done a portrait of his lovely dog Biscuit , we persuaded him to have his portrait done. Such a characterful face.
