Landscapes and seascapes

The original photograph ( taken from the website ) was very relaxing and atmospheric and I thought it would reproduce nicely in sepia. The waves are very effective with their white crests and I am very pleased with the end result.

A friend took this stunning sunset in Cornwall and I loved the colours and where the sun lights up the sea thrift. It is hard to believe the original photograph was actually not photoshopped! Beautiful image that made a striking pastel painting.

This image drew me in as soon as I saw the original reference photo and I could imagine being there. Lovely light and shade and depth of was the first painting I sold online at

I took this photograph one autumn morning and I was taken by the contrast between the sunlight, the autumn leaves and the shadows made by the father and son. It made a wonderful pastel painting, using soft pastel and pastel pencils, and sold during my open house exhibition in 2014.....

This delightful scene was created from a photograph taken by a family friend and was sold during the 2014 H-art exhibition here are my home in Wigmore.
