Pet portraits

PAYING ATTENTION TO DETAIL IS WHAT MAKES ME POPULAR
FOR COMMISSIONS LIKE THESE:

This is a recent pet portrait, for the father of the owners of the Castle House Hotel in Hereford who was 60 recently. We visited the owner's home and my wife Cath took the photographs for me to work from. I have two more commissions to complete - one of a terrier and one of a border collie.....

This lovely little dog belonged to the son of the friend who commissioned me - he provided the photograph though I prefer to take my own.....I don't usually chose an image with direct eye contact but was very happy with the end result....

I was delighted to recieve this commission from a lady who found me under "Animal artists in Herefordshire" on Google - you can read more about this commission on my blog.....

SHANNON - COMMISSION

This beautiful labrador belonged to a fellow Rotary Club member and I was very pleased to be asked to undertake a portrait of him......he is still on their wall even though he passed away a few years ago. My wife took a wide selection of photos before we chose this one that best portrayed his character....

I was approached by Alice Fenner of the Retired Greyhound Trust to undertake a portrait of one of their rehomed greyhounds to be used for Christmas cards in 2016. You can read the full story HERE! You can also see a short video of how he was created on my YouTube channel HERE......
